A female friend was telling me she had a girlfriend who was a part-time model that was having an affair with French business man. He was a married CEO of a famous family business who lived in Paris with his wife and 3 kids. Once a month he would spend a few days with her in NYC and live like they were on their honeymoon.
Officially she was on his payroll as a marketing consultant for $20k/month. I said that was a phenominal deal. She said "No," after 4 years he decided to end it suddenly and since she wasn't the type to save she was devasted both financially and emotionally. A year later she married a guy she was dating on the side who was no where near as successful or exciting.
Theoretically which do you think is better - A cool high paying consulting job where you only have to work 4 days a month but have no job security or a secure full-time employee position with a pension plan but at half the pay and with no excitement?

4 great years of living life to the fullest? Count me in!!! At least know you can die saying you didn't miss out!!
20k/ month is good money for being someone's date one weekend out of the month. There's no reason she couldn't put some of that money into an education or another vocation to learn something besides modeling. What's wrong w/ having a f/t job, a pension plan, and dating someone who is rich and successful? This day in age it's all about having your cake and eating it too!
